To Catch a Firefly Special Edition Hard Cover Design for Rainbow Crate

Rainbow Crate contacted me to do a foiled hard cover design for To Catch a Firefly by Emmy Sanders. The illustration chosen was a sweet scene in the book, with the back illustration being the first time the two MCs met. The blues and yellows reflect the beautiful sky often mentioned throughout the book.

Design process for Bücherbüchse's hard cover special edition of Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab. This was a rush work request. I enjoyed drawing this, especially the little skulls entertwining with the roses' roots!

Hi! I’m Jhoanna, otherwise known as Chiqui, a Filipino currently living in the UK! I've worked with various authors and small businesses as an illustrator. My designs have ranged from foil prints and book covers to metal bookmarks to enamel pins.I love so many genres, from horror to fantasy to mystery. I also love video games! You can probably tell by some of my personal illustrations that I’m also super into the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV.All my artworks and designs are free of Generative AI! I do not use GenAI in any part of my process.
